    Feeling Blue

Hello friends...Been feeling blue for quite a while since spaces has made changes, as you can see I've taken away my guestbook until I can shake this mood off me...Sorry, I don't seem to be coping too well and feel like I should write to let you know why I've gone a little quiet...I have lots of friends here on spaces and seem to be going round in circles to keep up with all their updates...From all of my friends only a handful come back to find the time to visit me and it's really getting me down...So I'm going to have some time off spaces before I do something rash and close my space completely...Please accept my appologies as some of you are really good friends and I think the world of you...As soon as I'm able I will come back and try again...Until we meet again, much love always... xxx Lynn xxx

    A Tiny Small Prayer

Twas New Years cold Eve from times of our late
The unanswered prayers laid dormant in wait
The sign in the office read ‘Urgent Prayers Prayed’
But by error up in Heaven one prayer got mislaid!

All prayers to be answered at once! Did go there!
Gathered by Angels with masteries in prayers
But one prayer too tiny had slipped through a gap
Then fell through the skies and it’s strength it did sap!

On Earth laid a blanket of  fluffy white snow
No footprints around it, as lights were down low
A crash, then a whimper, and the snow made a dip
As the little prayer landed from the Heavenly trip!

Up high in the Heaven the Office stopped working
No prayers to be answered as Angels were searching
A tiny prayer lost, a precious wish dashed
The Angels peered down to the Earth where it crashed!

The unanswered prayers scold! “Why the commotion!
This little prayer surely is not worth DEVOTION!
We’re bigger than him, yet you make us all WAIT!
Now God will be angry for receiving us so LATE!”

A voice boomed around them “All prayer’s judge ye not
This tiny small prayer should be least not FORGOT!
Look down on the Earth where the little prayer sleeps!”
The Angels and prayers are so perplexed they weep!

On the ground in the snow laid the unanswered prayer
With indentations so great where it fell through the air
Five giant letters which made the snow cease
This little prayer prayed for, the world to find PEACE!

    When Your Heart Once Believed

Here’s a plea to your hearts as Christmas has come
Little girls, little boys having plenty of fun
Hear the joy which it brings on the Noel’s fine eve
Remember way back when your heart once believed!

You believed in Santa Claus in his magical sleigh
The friendly Ho-Ho, spreading joy for one day!
Then forgot Christmas day was a young saviours birth
The best gift of all, was sent for us down on Earth!

Happy Birthday Dear Lord, Happy Christmas Above
I am proud to be yours and through you I spread love
May the world start to heal, poverty must we end
Let the nations rejoice, making us faithful FRIENDS!

Here’s a plea to your hearts as Christmas has come
Little girls, little boys having plenty of fun
Hear the joy which it brings on the Noel’s fine eve
Remember way back when your heart once believed!

    The Beggar And The Child

Happy first of December each...It's not far until Christmas and I'm acting like a 'lil child again, hehehe, or should I say ho-ho-ho...Sometimes I wonder if we're here to be tested, so I decided to do another poem for Christmas, hence...The Beggar And The Child...Hope you enjoy...Have a wonderful week my friends...Don't go into too much debt this Christmas as it's the love from the heart which really counts and I know you have plenty of that...Sweet dreams, much love and hugs always... xxx Lynn xxx

    The Beggar And The Child

A man laid down on Christmas Eve
In a mere cardboard box for his bed
His blankets made from old newspapers
And his nose was a deep crimson red
He smiles when he thinks about a girl
Which he bumped into earlier that day
When he was out begging for his food
He listened to what she had to say!

"Mummy look at that beggar man!
He’s asking for coins to get his meal
Why can’t the people see him there?
I wonder if they know how hurt he feels!
Could he be a ghost from Christmas past
Or maybe just an Angel without wings?
Let us try to give him some help
As Christmas is a time for sharing things!”

The Mother smiles and opens her arms
Then she hugs her child with delight,
It made her stop and think to herself
She whispers, “Darling, you’re so right!”
She wishes everyone could feel the same
Then she crouches down to where he sat
She reaches for the last note in her purse
And she places it with LOVE onto his lap!

That very night the stranger disappears
As his work on Earth had been done
He met up with the Lord at Heaven’s Gate
And his wings and halo really shone!
He says “This time my work was GOOD
As two more mortals passed the test!
They found the time for a poor beggar man
So there's bound to be hope for all the REST!"

    A Reason To Celebrate

Thanks to all of my friends and family for thinking of me while I've been poorly...Bless you...Decided to do another poem after reading my Sister Nessa's poem, she's got me in the mood for Christmas, you must read hers it's absolutely wonderful, I'll put her link below...Anyway here's my Christmas poem which I've just finished, it's named...A Reason To Celebrate...Hope you enjoy...Hugs and love to all...xxx Lynn xxx

    A Reason To Celebrate

How often have you trimmed the tree
    When children are still dreaming?
And played the part of Santa Claus
Whilst all the stars are gleaming?
How many presents have you wrapped
    Or stockings have you hung?
Or listened to the words of praise
From the Carols which have been sung?

Have you ever felt the Earth be moved
     When watching children play?
And felt so happy for the love
    You’ve shared each Christmas day?
How many times have you felt anguish
For others with naught each year?
Then gone to bed with laden heart
With pillow soaked through by each tear?

How often have you passed someone
And wanted to give them a hug?
And thought how sad this life is now
As we cannot show all of our love?
Have you ever thanked the Lord above
For giving you food on your plate?
Lets share this time to bring back the love
    Giving us reason to CELEBRATE!

    The Fallen Of War

Hello again friends...As most of you know I haven't had much chance to visit you due to problems with my arm...With luck it wont be much longer as I have my operation next Friday and as soon as I'm up to it I will get back to each of you...Just to let you know I'm thinking of you always...As it will soon be Remembrance Day and I felt it was an important event in our history to write you another poem...Hence...The Fallen Of War...I hope you enjoy...All the best wishes for your weekend...Take care, hugs and love always...xxx Lynn xxx

    The Fallen Of War

On the eleventh day of the eleventh hour and the eleventh month 1918,
The guns of the western front fell silent after more than four years.

Just two minutes of silence for Armistice Day
Bow your head in respect when ‘The Last Post’ does play
Please remember for whom they lost their lives for
Wear your Poppy with pride for ‘THE FALLEN’ of WAR!

Twas the year 1914 when the great war did start
Many were recruited with much pain in their heart
They knew they were needed and the outcome was bleak
But they fought for their Country in hope for DEFEAT!

Young men aged of nineteen who’s lives were cut short
The weeping of nations, the world OVERWROUGHT!
People lay dying in pools of bright red
Orphaned young children their parents laid DEAD!

Not many returned when FOUR years come to end
People lost kin or their neighbours or FRIENDS!
In a field which bares crosses to mark where they lay
If it wasn’t for their courage, we may not be here on this day!

Just two minutes of silence on  Remembrance Day
Bow your head in respect when ‘The Last Post’ does play
Please remember for whom they lost their lives for
Wear your Poppy with pride for ‘THE FALLEN’ of WAR!

    Trick Or Treat?

This day is named Halloween where magic is a rule
Children waiting anxiously to get home after school
They go into their bedrooms as a meek young child
Then a spell gets cast on them which makes them go all wild!

Little monsters everywhere, where’s the Children gone?
Ghouls and witches in their place, streets are overrun
In their arms are Pumpkin heads with eyes alight with fire
As they approach somebody’s door the Human does perspire!

"Trick or Treat! They cry aloud. Give us all some sweets!
We are here to have some fun and make your body creep
Boo! We dressed up just for you to make you gasp and smile
Put some candy in our bags to make our night worthwhile!”

Magic really does exist, it shines from children's eyes
They believe in Fairy Tales or witches in the skies
I wish I could be like a child all innocent and sweet
Then I’d join in all their fun especially TRICK OR TREAT!

      "Have A Happy Halloween Everybody!"

    Love Slept Here

Hello dear friends...I'm sorry once again for leaving you again but I've been suffering with pain in my arm and didn't feel up to spaces...Had to go hospital last week and was in such a frenzy I gave myself a black eye, lol...I was in the shower and noticed some leaves from my plant on the shower floor, decided to pick them up and forgot about the bar halfway up, lol...Hit myself staight on the nose, hehehe...Hence my black eye....So I hope my black eye gives you all something to smile about, did miss you lots and hope you are all well and having A lovely week...Thank you all for being patient with me...Had lots of time to think and have decided to write a poem which is close to my heart named "Love Slept Here" Hope you enjoy...Sweet dreams always, much love and have a good night... xxx Lynn xxx

    Love Slept Here

After the lights go out and the stars light up the sky
I question the Dear Lord why the word LOVE has to die
As each year is harder and HIS hope in humankind
Has been shattered many times and is very rare to find!

I remember when the BACKDOOR was an opening for all
And we could trust our neighbours whenever they would call
We’d all sit down together on a cold dark winter’s night
Sharing all our darkest woes and we prayed we’d be alright!

We’d weep for them and them for us if something was amiss
We’d share the contents of our food and say thank you with a KISS
The world was so much brighter and LOVE was the real KEY!
Good morn meant have a nice morning, and howdy How are thee!

We didn’t have much money but we were rich like KINGS!
Our homes a little tatty but was blessed like ANGELS WINGS
Our shoes were snug and comfy, no names like Nike or Air!
But most of all we slept at night feeling LOVE really SLEPT THERE!

So straight after the lights go out and I feel like LOVE’S gone dead
I picture family and my friends and rest my weary head
I thank the Lord for all he does and pray I can survive
As all's not lost, there's room for change and LOVE will be REVIVED!

    The Autumn Fairy

Happy Autumn friends...Autumn has just begun and the garden has strange things happening in it...So I thought I'd give you my version of what's been happening in the garden while we sleep...Hence my new poem, The Autumn Fairy...Hope you enjoy... Much love always... xxx Lynn xxx

    The Autumn Fairy

Under the moonlight the creatures all glare
At a beautiful Fairy with rich Autumn hair
She crunches the leaves under foot where she treads
As she dances and giggles at the stars overhead!

This beautiful creature in a dress olive green
Comes out to play when the humans do dream
With mind like a child and a voice like a harp
She skips and she sings for the creatures of dark!

The mesmerised Hedgehogs, a line dance do they
Kicking their heels in the cold yellow hay
Most creatures around all decide to join in
Laughing and wearing their best Autumn grins!

Sweet Nellie Owl gives a “Twittery twoo!”
And she opens her wings to applaud all they do
Then all of the moths with formation of wings
Glide past with valour making circles of wind!

Then gusts stir the leaves in the chill of the night
And the beautiful Fairy just smiles with delight
She knows the display we’ll wake up to at morn
Golden leaves at our feet as the Autumn's now born!

    My Calmest Shore

Hello friends, I hope you are having a peaceful night and getting ready for a glorious weekend, bliss...Anyway I've been deep in thought again and have been listening to the news about the milk scare in China...It's really Terrible how far people will go to save  money, poor little Angels put at risk again for greeds sake...It's not Right!...Well as usual because so much intake before lights go out I decided to do another poem...I've named it... My Calmest Shore as I'm a believer when things get too much to bare to put your worries in God's palms and let him decide how to deal with it...I hope you enjoy...Sweet dreams, love to all... xxx Lynn xxx

    My Calmest Shore

Oh tortured soul be quiet be still
As thoughts do stir and cannot quell
Thou find the time to leadeth me
To rawest hurts from long time be
No change have I, nor strength within
Nor where the journey to begin
My loin, my cloth, my sin I bare
And give my Lord my pain to share!

Be kind my Lord and hear me weep
I knowest not where sheep do sleep
As my heart sleeps where wolves do gnaw
And cannot tread upon calm shores
Please lift thy palm and take my heart
And let these waters come to part
So I can rest this weary head
And go to place where Angels tread!

I bare my soul to thou this night
And ask forgiveness for each plight
For fools know not what they have done
    The lies deception! Wars begun!
And now my tears no longer be
As my eyes plucketh and cannot see
And now I rest, no pain no more
Goodnight my Lord, my calmest shore!

    She Hides (No More)

In the house where she does dwell
She does her best but not too well
Her world around comes crashing down
She hides again, this broken clown!

She needs to let her demons go
Who hide in wait, at night they show
They use her mind just like some bait
A constitution of love and hate!

Oh yea, they feast upon her brain!
    A crumpled mess, allowing pain
The massacre of wrongs and rights
She prays for help, the Lord now fights!

"Go forth my child! The Lord does cry
Dispel these demons, let them die!
Suffer not! you’ve done your best
Sleep my child, it’s time to rest!”

She dreams so sweet, no pain has she
She hides no more, she’s been set free
She smiles and wakes to a new dawn
    Mistakes forgiven, she's now REBORN!

    Sorry

I wish to apologise to all of my friends here on spaces...I'm really sorry that I've neglected all of you over the past couple of months, don't know what came over me to disappear without a word but I had a lot going on inside of my head and I needed to escape for a while...Hope you forgive me for not being here for all of you, all I can say is...SORRY, I missed you all so much...I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend, much love to all...Lynn xxxx

    Sorry

Sorry for the things I’ve done whilst being under stress
Little errors were performed which made my life a mess
A selfish act on my behalf to run away from pain
And now I’m back to face the world, to start anew again!

Hello again my dearest friends, I hope you all are well

    If It Wasn’t For You

If it wasn’t for you Dad my time here on Earth
Would have no definition, with no will nor no worth
You planted a seed in my heart and it grew
If it wasn’t for you Dad my world would be blue!
     Photobucket
If it wasn’t for you Dad I would not want to live
You gave me great valour which helped me to forgive
My words became poems and YOU made them flow
If it wasn’t for you Dad, my heart would let go!
     Photobucket
If it wasn’t for you Dad my skies would fall down
As you managed to lift up my deepest dark frowns
I thank you for making this heart skip a beat
If it wasn’t for you Dad, no words could I speak!

    Footprints In My Heart

Oh, what a heart which speaks unto mine
From some special moments from way back in time
Back to the days when my footprints were small
These are some treasures of which I still recall!
     Photobucket
You taught me to walk with my head held up high
And gave me broad shoulders to dry my sweet eyes
You said it’s ‘alright’ to make some mistakes
As all can be rendered, but the cradle can break!
     Photobucket
These are some gifts that you gave unto me
Beautiful treasures, passed down costing FREE!

    Young Peter

Good morning my lovely friends, a beautiful weekend to you all, looks like the writers block has left me so I'm gonna get on your nerves again with my poetry, hehehe...My new poem is about a young boy named Peter who was my brother's friend, hence Young Peter...It's a story with a difference...Hope you enjoy my little tale...Big huggies and much love...Lynn xxxx

    Young Peter

I remember a friend who my brother once had
Young Peter his name was, such a quiet little lad
Roughly his age was between three years or four
He was one of the shy ones and a tad quite unsure!
     Photobucket
He only conversed with my brother as such
And dined with us often but seldom ate much
But he was a good friend to my brother dear
Not leaving his side until the night time drew near!
     Photobucket
We’d hear so much laughter from them during play
He’d chatter and giggle to pass time away
His words were so silent but we knew he was fun
My brother looked happy and his face really shone!
     Photobucket
Young Peter alas, was a child of the unknown
He lost his true path and could not get back home
So we all played pretence we could see his small face
Then came the bad winter, he left us without trace!
     Photobucket
I remember my brother cried his heart out that day
Saying Peter had died, and his soul slipped away
We mourned for young Peter as respect to our bro
And before long his memory from my brother did go!
     Photobucket
From whence Peter came from is a mystery to me
But some things in life, the eyes will not see
And invisible friends have occurred more than most
Perhaps the lad Peter, was a friendly young GHOST!

    Lullaby Unknown

Hello Strangers, hehehe, I've been under a lot of pressure just  lately and I seem to have developed some sort of writers block, lol...I've had a few upsets which I wont go into and I feel slightly bruised but no bones have been broken, lol...Anyway the earthquake in China has really touched my soul with great sadness...Those poor little Angels have so much pain right now and I feel ashamed of myself for letting a slight hiccup in my life get to me...All I can offer these beautiful people is my poem of how I feel inside...I've named it, Lullaby Unknown...With love to you all, will drop by soon, take care dear friends as we don't always know what we've got until it's taken from us...Lynn xxxx

This tune of great sorrow sometimes plays whilst I sleep
A painful lullaby, which can turn lions into sheep
This haunting little tune which resounds in my head
The notes are made from teardrops that the world has sadly shed!
     PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
A lamentation for our children and the blood upon our hands
This lullaby unknown stretches many desert sands
A weeping in the wilderness, the mourning calls now heard
For the people born in China needing comfort from the world!
     PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
As I sleep voices dormant but the tune keeps playing on
With a sound of so much sorrow like the Earth without a sun
With my head in my hands Lord, please! hear the nations cries
With a lullaby unknown and a heart that sometimes dies!

    The Old Apple Tree

Hello dear friends, another week soon begins and with that another poem starts...Sometimes I think of way back when I was small and remember with great fondness an old apple tree which laid in my backyard...I used to climb into it's branches and feel protected and away from all harm...So meet...The Old Apple Tree...Have a wonderful day and build yourself beautiful memories...Much love always...Enjoy...Lynn xxxx

I remember the old tree with apples galore
Which lived in our garden right near the back door
His branches were twisty with all sorts of knots
With fruit to feed many, from a time once forgot!
    Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
He looked really posh with his head in the air
And he was my friend and long hours we did share
Up high in his branches where birds sometimes flew
In a make believe kingdom where dreams did come true!
    Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
When needing escape from the trivia’s of school
I’d climb high in his branches and wept like a fool
I’d tell him my downfalls and he’d lend me his ear
Then he’d rock me so gently, and away went all fear!
    Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
The old house we lived in was too old for repair
Then an order was served, to evict us from there
In the garden of my childhood where things came to pass
Mere mortal and nature, and a fondness to last!
    Photobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
So I’ll remember the old tree with apples galore
Whom lived in our garden right near a back door
There was more to the old tree than apples or wood
His branches held comfort, and his heart had much LOVE!

Deep inside of the forest, the creatures felt despair
The sound of gunshots echoed throughout the morning air
The time was hunting season, all the animals were forlorn
Accept for one young tiger, as his little heart was torn!
     Photobucket
The men that held the boom machine were getting really near
Yet little John the tiger, had not the time to fear
He watched his Mama weeks ago when hunting for her pray
She lay inside a pool so red, these words he heard her say!
     Photobucket
“Dear Lord please watch my little John, make his spirit strong
Please be there to comfort him, and may his days be long
Although I’m dying needlessly to make someone’s attire
They know not what just what they do.” Her breath then does expire!
     Photobucket
The ground did shake the birds awake, a scurrying of wings
A flocking of the fearful kind, a sound of shrills do spring
Upon the floor the feathers fell, no chorus had these birds
Yet still John lay in wait alone, no roar from him was heard!
    Photobucket
A little breeze of tiny wings landed by John’s side
This baby bird with eyes of tears, then onto John she flied
“Please don’t eat me Master John, my Mamma I can’t find.”
Upon the ground some feathers lay, John roared at humankind!
    Photobucket
She spread her wings to cover eyes, something was then amiss
She felt much fear as John drew near, upon her head he kissed
A man approaches with his gun, with pound signs in his eyes
A trophy for him so he thought! the little bird then sighs!
     Photobucket
John leapt to save this tiny bird, his roar was ever bold
He killed the gunman with one swipe, his temper now gone cold
He lifted her onto his back, then told her not to fear
As in his heart this bird now lay, he then shed one small tear!
     Photobucket
Inside of the deep forest, where darkness once did live
Two friends hearts shine so brightly, now both do now forgive
There Mama's watched them with much joy, from way up high above
As now deep inside this forest, two friends do share much love!

    Young Matilda

Good morning friends, thank you for all the kindness you have shown...As you all know, I really like telling stories about Angels...This morning I needed to help cover child abuse, so I wrote a poem of which I've named...Young Matilda...I really hope you enjoy...Much love to where you are...You are never far from my heart...Lynn xxxx

Up high in the mountains, where not many go
lives a beautiful Angel who dances on snow
Her hair is like starlight tousled with wind
With a face so Angelic, she makes nature sing!
    PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
She dances for freedom of all the Earth’s woes
A Mother by instinct where harmony grows
Once known as Matilda, a child with a past
And yet she still dances on sheets of white glass!
    PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Her story unfolds now, once born of abuse
A buried dark secret which striven for truth
Taunted by parents, neglected from birth
Poor young Matilda, stood no chance on Earth!
    PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Young Sisters and Brothers, of which she did care
So she taken her beatings with silence and prayer
A heart of such courage, and also much pain
As night time approaches in her bed did she lain!
    PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
A shout of great torment awoke her from dream
The room red with furnace, and her kin they did scream!
Her parents in stupor from Alcohol fumes
She rushed to the aid of, her families bedrooms!
    PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucket
Her Sisters and Brothers now safe and secure
Yet sweet young Matilda, went back through the door
Heroic this Angel, for her parents she tried
Alas the red furnace, erupts then they died!
    PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Two graves for her parents, and peace for the rest
No Heaven for them though, in the Hells do they fest
Her Sisters and Brothers were taken in care
Until a young couple, their lives did they spare!
    PhotobucketPhotobucket PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Young sweet Matilda, now in a grave by a hill
She roams where she pleases, to a land of tranquil.
So up high in the mountains, in a land of pure white
This beautiful Angel, sings and dances EACH NIGHT!

    My Hall Of Fame Award

Hello friends...Today I want to dedicate a poem for my Husband... He runs a space to try to find a little Angel who's been missing for a year today, Madeleine McCann...He spends many hours doing things to try to find her...Thursday night he was up until 3 in the morning making ribbons and cards for his space friends to put in her homeplace in Rothley, Leicestershire...At 5am and with just two hours sleep he took all the gifts to Rothley so she would be remembered...All of his friends on his space can only be a friend if they display her poster...I actually nominated him to The Hall Of Fame Award without his knowledge, hehehe, alas he wasn't chosen...So instead I have done a poem for him, I've named it...My Hall Of Fame Award...Hope you enjoy...Much love...Lynn xxxx

    My Hall Of Fame Award

The Hall Of Fame missed out one heart
Who is my Husband, my better half
If only they knew, this special man
Who runs his space to find Madeleine McCann!
     Photobucket
This little Angel who got taken away
He’ll keep on searching for her everyday
He talks about her most of the time
And sheds many tears, with the hope she is fine!
     Photobucket
One small nomination, to them I did send
In recognition of this wonderful friend
Not many know of his hours and time
And his sheer dedication, in the hope she is fine!
     Photobucket
And now I would like to award him this one
    He’ll be embarrassed but I don’t care
As all he wants for this Angel, is a little prayer!
     Photobucket
So dear Hall Of Fame I think you have lost
A perfect dear person who does things, NO COST!
So the award from my heart is for Madeleine McCann
And the person who runs it, that’s a real special MAN!
